At the first interview we will take detailed instructions from you relating to your matter and discuss with you whether your specific circumstances are suitable for a fixed fee service package.
In addition to the fees detailed below Hine Downing can also provide, upon request, a fixed fee service in respect of divorce financial matters, issues relating to children and domestic violence cases. Once we have obtained details of your specific case we will confirm the fixed fee quotation which will be specifically tailored to your individual matter so that you can be sure that you will pay the appropriate amount for your personal circumstances.
We will advise you as to the general issues and procedural matters involved with your case and the likely level of costs if your matter is not suitable for a fixed fee quotation. We are pleased to provide a free 30-minute initial consultation on any family matter.

- Any aspect of the divorce procedure which is defended by your spouse (applies only if you are the petitioner)
- Any necessary steps to prove service/apply for deemed service of your divorce papers if your spouse does not co-operate with the procedure (applies only if you are the petitioner)
- Advice and dealing with any legal issues relating to children or finances

Court Fees
You may be eligible for a reduction or exemption of the aforementioned court fees depending on your financial circumstances. We will confirm at the first interview whether you are likely to be eligible and the information/documentation we require from you.
